Intermediate Technical Support – Mobile (North York)

PURPOSE OF POSITION: Mobile Technician responsible for actively servicing and maintaining existing customer networks, installation of new projects and providing emergency technical support.

DIRECT REPORTS: Chief Technology Officer

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Setting up and coordinating new server installations
  2. Deploying and installing workstations, printers and networking equipment
  3. Must be available for emergency technical support
  4. Schedule and manage maintenance agreements
  5. Build and maintain customer relations
  6. Documentation and reports
  7. Please note that this is not a 9 to 5 job

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Strong communication skills
  2. Computer skills: Active Directory, MS Server 2003, 2008, 2012 Exchange 2003, 2007, 2013 Windows XP, Vista, 7,Windows 8 backup and anti-virus software, switches and router configuration, vpn, printers etc.
  3. Must have certifications: CompTIA A+, MCP, other certifications would be considered an asset
  4. Knowledge of RMM and PSA tools would be considered an asset
  5. Virtualization would be considered an asset
  6. Ability to plan and prioritize
  7. Writes clearly, using correct grammar, spelling and punctuation
  8. Strong customer service skills
  9. Strong conflict resolution skills
  10. Must have vehicle
  11. Minimum 6 Yrs experience

SALARY: Approx $40-50K
